Allergies and intolerances

Allergies are the body's inappropriate response to perceived threats from external antigens, be they food, pollens or chemicals. Its a signal that the immune system is not functioning correctly.
Whilst avoiding certain foods and chemicals is ok in the short term, often in the longterm other sensitivies develop.

HOMEOPATHY
You can consider homeopathy for help with the relief of acute allergy and intolerance attacks, by taking small remedy tablets that can be carried on you and administered as and when needed. Homeopathy can also be considered for the long term elimination and management of these conditions.

Homeopathy has been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of allergies. It is a safe, natural and drug free approach, which is ideal for babies and children.

The homeopathic approach to food intolerances and allergies is to strengthen the immune system so that in the long term the body becomes less and less sensitive to perceived allergens. This enables patients to live a life free from the restrictions of a limited diet and avoiding substances that cause allergic reactions.

Homeopathy seeks to address the triggers of allergies at a deep level so as to bring the body back into balance, this ultimately allows patients to be able to eat certain foods or be in situations that once caused reactions.
This is done with an in-depth case taking session. A remedy (a small sweet tasting tablet) is then prescribed along with supporting remedies to take in acute attacks, whilst the immune system is strengthened. Appointments are monthly initially.

If an allergy test is required a simple hair analysis test can be incorporated into the consultation (ideal for children as it is non-invasive).
