SPORTS & OTHER INJURIES
BenefitsThe main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues as a result of physical activity - whether this is sports, gardening or carrying things. Where minor injuries and lesions occur, due to overexertion and/or overuse, massage can break them down quickly and effectively. Sports massage aims to improve the suppleness and flexibility of muscles and joints, improve blood circulation, speed up the healing of damaged or stressed muscles, tissues and joints, and prevent future muscle and tendon injuries.

Dynamic Massage And Manual Lymph Drainage:
Dynamic massage is a form of therapeutic sports massage that incorporates and allows movement of joints and muscles into the massage session. This is particularly suitable for chronic, deep conditions and also for the elderly. The shaking and moving together with the massaging helps to raise one's awareness of how one is holding and moving one’s body.
Manual Lymph Drainage: is very relaxing and used for rehabilitation following injury, wonderful at helping oedema, sprains, scar treatment, carpal tunnel syndrome and other sports, muscle and tissue injuries. This is a gentle massage that stimulates the lymph and aids healing.
