Nutritional consultation
Our bodies are made of what we eat, what we are able to absorb and how we get rid of toxins. If we do not eat a good diet it is hard for the body to function optimally. And even if we eat well our bodies may still not be able to utilise what we eat. Or may have difficulty in getting rid of toxins. Over time this may lead to disease, lack of energy, digestive problems and to many of the degenerative diseases that we see nowadays such as arthritis, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and osteoporosis. Our lifestyles are much more stressful than they used to be and stress may increase the risk of illness. By knowing what to eat, when to eat and by taking supplements tailored to your individual needs it may help to give the body what it needs in order to heal itself and bring it back into a state of balance and vitality. Nutritional therapy and lifestyle changes can help with a wide range of conditions. Often there is no label for how you feel, you just know you do not feel your best and are not functioning to the best of your ability.
Weight loss programme
We offer a special 12-week programme with 3 parts:
1) Body composition programme
After measuring your body composition, we determine which programme is right for you. A health body composition programme will target fat and preserve muscle. Muscle is what gives us the shape we seek. Don't fall victim to fad "starvation" diets or potentially dangerous weight loss pills - in the long run your body may only end up retaining fat and loosing lean tissue (muscle). We can provide you with a body composition programme that has been clinically tested and shown to reduce fat while retaining and even increasing lean muscle tissue. The programme includes practical dietary guidelines, a simple exercise plan, and a delicious, nutritionally balanced metabolic food to promote healthy body composition.
2) A Healthy Diet
Is it important to reduce the amount of calories in your diet without compromising your body's nutritional needs. The low-calorie diets commonly used in weight-loss programmes may not be beneficial and may even produce fatigue dizziness and weakness. A diet consisting of a variety of fruits, vegetables and fiber-rich whole grains as well as healthy protein and fat, will ensure adequate nutrition and a feeling of fullness.
3) A Simple Exercise Programme
A healthy body composition programme should include some kind of exercise. Numerous studies have shown that non-vigorous exercise, such as moderately brisk walking, can provide health benefits similar to those of more vigorous activities like running. Resistance exercises (e.g. light weightlifting) may also be beneficial.
