Short descrption of Allergy Testing
There are several ways to test for food intolerances. The most reliable method is to carry out an elimination diet. This is advised if you have a good idea of which food is making you unwell. If you are unsure which food is making your unewll or need to test for more than 2 foods the best method is blood testing. Fiona Lennon, our Nutritional Consultant can arrange for these tests for you. Food test will involve finger prick blood testing. Airborne allergens may require a full blood draw which can be arranged, by Fiona, at the Nuffield Hospital.
